About
What RivitPay is
RivitPay started as a free invoice generator and grew into the smallest useful invoicing product we could build: make an invoice, send it, know when it's seen, get paid — without your money ever passing through us.
The generators
The invoice generator and the crypto generator are free forever and need no account. They run entirely in your browser: nothing you type is uploaded, stored, or seen by us. Line items in 45 currencies, tax and discounts, bank details on the document, share links, and a print-perfect PDF.
The account
A free account adds the part a document can't do: sending with the PDF attached, a live Viewed status the moment your client opens the invoice, overdue flags, a needs-chasing list, and automatic reminders that chase on your schedule, in your words — and stop the moment it's paid. Invoices in your account are stored so sending and tracking can work; they're yours, and they're never sold or shared.
Getting paid
Card payments run on Stripe as direct charges: your client pays, the money settles into your own Stripe account and on to your bank. RivitPay never holds, routes, or touches your funds. Your first $5,000 collected carries no RivitPay fee; after that it's 1.5% + Stripe's processing fees, only when a client pays online — the full math is on the pricing page, including when Stripe's own invoicing becomes the cheaper choice.
Privacy, precisely
Two different promises, stated exactly: the free generators never see your data at all; account invoices are stored to make sending and tracking possible, and for no other purpose. No ads, no reselling, no analytics on invoice contents.
Frequently asked questions
Who runs RivitPay?
A small independent team. No venture pressure to grow fees — the pricing model is the business model.
Do I need an account?
No. The generators are complete tools on their own. An account only adds sending, tracking, reminders, and payments.
Where does my money go when a client pays?
From your client's card into your own Stripe account, then to your bank on Stripe's schedule. RivitPay's fee is taken on the payment itself — we never hold funds.
